I ever loved this kind of trees, mainly for the shape of their leaves. Finally I've decided to start growing some from seed.

This is a young Ginko Biloba started from seed, actually it's quite skinny and branchless. I hope next spring will develope few branches.

I've pruned the top and placed the cutting rooting in sand (or at least it seem so, even it isn't the proper period for Ginko cuttings!). After this the little tree seems developing few extra buds. This year I haven't repotted it. I'll see how's going the next months.

Few weeks ago I've removed the top shooting and a couple of leaves, actually seems developing few new side buds and a new apex.
