This celtis has an interesting nebari, it developed three big aereal root since it was grown on an unstable clay soil. It was badly cutted 5cm above the ground, probably by a lawnmower, then developed a long shot that I was was trying to to work since I've collected it. I've allowed growing a lower branch in order to cover the bad lawnmower scar.

Nothing more to do, just few branches trimmed in order to have a decent budding also in the trunk, since I'm not quite sure of what to do with this tree.
Actually I'm keeping growing the lower branch in order to enlarge the trunk and cover the lawnmoner scar.

I've repotted it into a larger plastic pot, the old was too little and it was almost root filled. No root pruning since was too late and I don't want to loose the plant, I'll do next year.

This picture was taken soon after placing few wires, mainly for lowering one of the top two branches.
This tree is finally starting to resemble something interesting!

Autumn is coming! Almost all the celtis trees have started turning yellow, I'm taking few pictures before the strong wind blows away all the leaves.
